Comments: Every year in September, the towns of Gene Autry, Oklahoma and Tioga, Texas celebrate the life and works of Gene Autry. Maxine Hansen, who is Mrs. Autry's personal assistant, and Holly George-Warren, who is the official Gene Autry biographer, once again ventured to the Gene Autry festivals and celebrations. First time visitor Karla Buhlman, the Vice President of Gene Autry Entertainment, came along for the adventures and a good time was had by all.
