Synopsis: |
Gene Autry is foreman of the Knight Ranch owned by young, pretty Sandra Knight. He also owns a worthless piece of land adjoining Sandra's known as "Poker Ranch." Sandra, newly graduated in Animal Husbandry, comes out to her ranch (which she has never seen) to raise sheep on a "scientific basis," bringing with her three other pretty classmates. With his pal, Frog Millhouse, Gene makes Sandra believe his worthless "Poker Ranch" is her own Knight Ranch - hoping to discourage her so that she will go back East. However, Sandra stays on. Thorpe, a crooked cattle dealer, tries to buy Sandra's ranch, making her believe she is selling Gene's worthless place when, in reality, she will be selling her own valuable property. Gene discovers the plot and prevents the sale just in time to save Sandra's ranch. Thorpe and his henchmen are brought to justice; the girls remain at the Knight Ranch with Gene installed as permanent foreman.
