Grauman's Chinese Theatre

Hundreds of thousands of Hollywood's most elite have graced the halls of Grauman's Chinese Theatre at movie premieres and ceremonies. But only a select few have been invited to join the exclusive society known as the Forecourt to the Stars. From Marilyn Monroe to Tom Hanks, Betty Grable's legs to Jimmy Durante's nose, Sid Grauman helped Hollywood leave its impression on not only Los Angeles but on the world.

Gene Autry and Champion participated in ceremony #89 on December 23, 1949. You'll find Gene Autry's footprints and Champion's hoofprints in the upper left of the Forecourt of the Stars as you face the entrance of the Chinese Theatre. It is between the footprints of Danny Kaye and Margaret O'Brien.
