Fun Autry Fact:

Brief Synopsis:

Border Patrol agent Gene Autry and Pat help a rancher who is being terrorized. After preventing the attempted kidnapping of the rancher’s daughter, they investigate the attacks.

Detailed Synopsis:

On the way to Elkhorn, two men attack Pat Buttram and his fellow stagecoach passenger Diana Jamison in order to kidnap and hold her hostage. Luckily, Border Patrol agent Gene Autry, also riding to Elkhorn, thwarts the attempt. Steve Kinney, a land dealer, tries unsuccessfully to scare Dave Jamison, Diana's father, into selling his ranch so that he can link two ranches across the border for purposes of smuggling. Kinney then attempts to ambush Jamison, which results in Gene capturing one of the heavies. Two henchmen later attack the Jamison Ranch, liberate their companion and make off with Diana. Gene trails one henchman to town, fights him, and learns that Diana has been abducted. He then secretly smokes the heavies out of a shack, while Pat frees Diana. Meanwhile, Kinney forces Jamison to sign over the ranch in exchange for his daughter's freedom. Gene, however, overcomes the henchmen, captures Kinney, and gets the deed back.
