Champion Three (b. 1949 – d. 1990)

  • Sorrel-colored
  • 4 white stockings
  • Crooked blaze that extended onto the left side of his face, interrupted by a dark spot over his left eye, usually disguised by his forelock
  • Gelding
  • Never appeared in films, but made personal appearances in the late 1950s until 1960
  • Highlights: appeared on Merv Griffin and Ed Sullivan Shows; was the model for the Gene and Champion statue in the plaza of the Autry Museum of Western Heritage
