Melody Ranch Selected by Library of Congress

This year just keeps getting better and better for Gene Autry. On December 17th, it was announced by the Library of Congress that Gene's 1940 film Melody Ranch is one of 25 motion pictures to be added to the National Film Registry. Each year the Library of Congress names 25 "culturally, historically or aesthetically" significant motion pictures to the registry. This is indeed a great honor for America's Favorite Singing Cowboy!
