Turner Classic Movies (TCM) will celebrate the tune-filled legacy of Hollywood's great singing cowboys each Friday in July.

"King of the Singing Cowboys" Roy Rogers will take center stage on July 1 with five beautifully restored films, three of which were screened at the TCM Classic Film Festival in April. The lineup includes Cowboy and the Senorita (1944), Don't Fence Me In (1945), My Pal Trigger (1946), The Golden Stallion (1949) and Trigger, Jr. (1950).

Gene Autry will be featured on July 8, with TCM premieres of The Old Corral (1937), Home on the Prairie (1939), Back in the Saddle (1941), Texans Never Cry (1951) and Wagon Team (1952).

On July 15, TCM will honor Tex Ritter and Jimmy Wakely with a night of TCM premieres. Ritter's titles include Song of the Gringo (1936), The Old Chisholm Trail (1942) and Cowboy Canteen (1944), while Wakely stars in Oklahoma Blues (1948) and Brand of Fear (1949).

July 22 will feature singing cowboys Dick Foran and Monte Hale. Foran stars in Moonlight on the Prairie (1935), Song of the Saddle (1936), Treachery Rides the Range (1936) and Land Beyond the Law (1937). Those films will be followed by Hale in the TCM premieres of Home on the Range (1946) and Under Colorado Skies (1947).

And on July 29, TCM will present films starring Rex Allen, Herb Jeffries and Ken Maynard. The night will begin with Allen in the TCM premieres of Under Mexicali Stars (1950) and The Last Musketeer (1952). Next up, the color-barrier-breaking Jeffries stars in Two-Gun Man from Harlem (1938) and Harlem Rides the Range (1939). The TCM premiere of Maynard in In Old Santa Fe (1934) will close out the month-long festival.
