Gene Autry's Birthday at the Autry Museum

Gene Autry was born on September 29, 1907. The best way to celebrate the birthday of America's Favorite singing Cowboy is to visit the museum he founded, the Autry National Center. Gene Autry founded the Autry Museum in 1988 to celebrate both the mythic and historic American West.

Gene Autry guitars were designed and manufactured by the Harmony Company and sold by Sears Roebuck and Co. Detail shows guitar neck, circa 1930, with "Gene Autry" in mother-of-pearl inlay. This guitar was donated to the Autry Museum by Mr. and Mrs. Gene Autry. Autry National Center; 91.221.659

For Sunday, September 29, 2012 only, all Gene Autry movies and television shows on DVD that are currently in stock are included in this sale. And if you are a member of the Autry National Center you will also receive your membership discount off the original price.

Purchases may be made in person at the Museum Store or on-line. Please note that when you place an on-line order the screen will NOT show the sale price but the discount WILL be applied by the store staff when the order is written up.
