Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl at the Autry National Center

Autry 25th Anniversary

The Autry National Center is once again celebrating the Western way of life with their annual Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl on Saturday, July 26th. This is the perfect time to get in touch with your inner cowboy or cowgirl! Enjoy delicious BBQ and a root beer saloon, see live performers, explore the museum galleries, and try out some cowhand skills of your own.

The day's activities and events at the Autry Museum begin at 10:00 am and go throughout the day until 5:00 pm.

You and your posse can participate in a variety of Western-themed activities, including:

11:00 am Gun Powder Range Season 1, Episode 15
12:00 pm Horse Sense Season 2, Episode 15
1:00 pm The Western Way Season 2, Episode 18
2:30 pm The Sharpshooter Season 4, Episode 5
3:30 pm Outlaw of Blue Mesa Season 4, Episode 10

While you're at the Autry Museum, be sure to see the new exhibition Route 66: The Road and the Romance. Discover the facts and the fiction surrounding the Mother Road through more than 250 extraordinary artifacts that trace the history of the route and its impact on American Popular culture.
