Gene Autry Entertainment is thrilled to report that the Gene Autry Official YouTube Channel received the "Verified Checkmark" on June 23, 2015.

Howdy Friends,

It has been quite some time since I last sent out a GeneAutry.com email. We are updating a few things on Gene Autry's official website and that includes emails to Gene's fans. If you've been visiting the website, you know that Gene Autry Entertainment continues to release Gene Autry products such as movie and television show DVDs and promotes special events at the Autry National Center such as Day of the Cowboy and Cowgirl and Gene Autry Double Features.

In the last year we've also been working to make Gene Autry available to a new generation of fans on social media. We started the Gene Autry Official YouTube Channel with musical clips from Gene Autry's movies and radio shows. You can watch individual clips like "That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine" from Tumbling Tumbleweeds or "I Paid My Income Tax Today" from the Melody Ranch radio show. And you can watch a collection of clips in special Playlists such as "Songs from the Thirties (1930s)" or "Classic Western Songs." We will be adding more music, comedy bits, and special featurettes in the weeks to come.

We think this is a great YouTube channel, but one thing is missing! We need to get the official "Verified Checkmark" next to Gene Autry's name so that the world knows this is the one and only official channel for America's Favorite Singing Cowboy, Gene Autry. YouTube has requirements for verification and we've fulfilled all of them but one: We need more subscribers to the Gene Autry YouTube Channel and Gene Autry's Google+ page.
